The Climate Policy Institute was also present at the World Exhibition. On 3 October, Gábor Kóta represented the Institute at the World Conservation Forum, a professional conference organized as part of the large-scale event. Our senior researcher discussed the theoretical and practical significance of organic farming, its role in sustainable agriculture and its future in Hungary with Dr. Dóra Drexler, Director of the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (ÖMKI), and Ágoston Nobilis, the manager of Csoroszlya Farm, who has been committed to organic farming for many years.

On 8 October 2021, Máté Litkei, Director of the Climate Policy Institute, participated in the World Conservation Forum, where his interlocutor was Dr. Barbara Botos, Deputy State Secretary for Climate Policy at the Ministry of Innovation and Technology. The professional dialogue focused on climate policy in Central and Eastern European countries, the current energy situation and relations between Hungary and the EU, and the upcoming climate summit in Glasgow. They discussed what makes climate policy reasonable, the challenges facing the countries of the region, and the role of business in the green transition.
