I completed my PhD at the University of Szeged, in the Doctoral School of Chemistry, specializing in colloid science, nanoparticles and clay-based materials. Afterwards, I continued postdoctoral research at Friedrich Schiller University Jena in the field of light-sensitive polymer drug carriers. Functional and sustainable materials, micro- and nanoplastic pollution and water treatment play a central role in my scientific interests.
Beyond science, I have a personal interest in geopolitics, following great predecessors with a background in chemistry, such as Margaret Thatcher and Angela Merkel. In my free time, I enjoy watching art films, playing basketball, and taking part in volunteer activities. For example, as an alumni mentor in the Erasmus organization.
