The guest of the upcoming MCC event is Francesco Giubilei, Italian author, publisher, and professor based in Italy. He used to be a member of MCC Visiting Fellowship Program.
He is the President of the Italian Conservative foundation Fondazione Tatarella and the founder of the think tank Nazione Futura. He also teaches at the University G. Fortunato of Benevento. Mr. Giubilei was recently included in Forbes’s list of 100 most influential youths in Italy under 30. He has authored eight books including The History of European Conservative Thought (his first work to be published in English). His writings frequently appear in the Italian daily Il Giornale, The American Conservative, and The European Conservative magazines.
The Hungarian edition of his book, Conserving Nature will be presented at the event on January 25, 5 pm at MCC Scruton (1113, Tas vezér u. 3-7).
In the framework of the event will be a round table discussion about conservative environmental protection with the author, Francesco Giubilei, Dr. Calum T. Nicholson, social anthropologist, migration researcher, visiting fellow of MCC and Danube Institute and Máté Litkei, director of the Climate Policy Institute, the moderator will be Orsolya Kovács-Magosi, researcher of the Climate Policy Institute.
Participation in the event is free of charge, however, in all cases registration is required, which we adjust to the current epidemiological regulations.
